I am emailing regarding applying for funding for a project in which I wish to undertake over the summer period, I am currently in the process of finishing my second year of university and going into my third year of study, because of this I will be completing a dissertation module.  

The focus of my topic for this dissertation is upon Rewilding, alongside the research for this proposal, I would like to complete a placement, which would be beneficial, this is still in discussions with a rewilding charity or to even be completed in conjunction with a national park. If I were to complete a placement for this module it is likely that it will be completed voluntarily, but it is an area of conservation in which I feel very passionately about and would aid with completing a literature review for my dissertation module, however, it does mean I will have to fund accommodation/ travel etc. myself and so a grant for this placement would be helpful, but again I would only need if I managed to secure a placement.
