The University’s Centenary Festival takes place on Saturday 16 May 2026 from 12pm to 5pm.

This is a free event taking place on the Whiteknights Campus featuring live performances, fascinating research talks, sports taster sessions, delicious street food, and much more.

The Friends will have a stand in the Students’ Union showcasing the Friends’ work on heritage and in particular with Prof. Jackie Baines and Dr Ed Ross of the Classics Department who members helped with a grant to aid their work on AI image distortion. Why not come along and see if you can spot what was created by a camera, a human or an AI system.
